THANKS FROM THE FESTIVAL / SOUTH NORWOOD ARTS FESTIVAL / NORWOOD FORUM ANNUAL MEETING / SOUTH NORWOOD AUDIOBUS TOUR
THANKS FROM THE FESTIVAL
Well the dust has settled and the festival team have managed to get some good nights’ sleep since the weekend. But we are very happy and pleased with how the festival went – thousands of lovely visitors, amazing volunteers who made it all happen, inspiring and talented performers and of course the essential support from our great local businesses in many shapes and forms!
We hope you enjoyed the five days of the festival and caught many of the wonderful events happening all over Crystal Palace –
Our main park event in Westow Park on 27 June where the sun shone on our groovy bands and singers, great food and drink, the lively kids zone, tons of lifestyle activities and a wee bit of shopping!
Did you shake a tail feather at Vintage up the Palace on 28 June? Morris dancers, swing dancers, ska, rock and roll and more vintage shopping!
A beautiful evening at our boutique open air cinema featuring The Fisher King in Coopers Yard
An eccentric and unmissable show with Metamono, Dr Alex Paterson, Ampersand, Georgina Brett and Dizco at Anerley Town Hall
And 63 guest events ranging from Moine Dubh, Overground Express, Sergei Podobedov, Grooveschool and too many more to mention!
The festival is funded by local businesses sponsoring, advertising, stall and bar income, ticket and merchandise income, fundraising events, Big Lottery and Heritage Lottery Fund in 2015, and your donations which were amazing this year!! We need your help to survive so please do continue to support by coming to the festival and donate what you can at the festival website – crystalpalacefestival.org
We also need your feedback as that is really important when we are applying for funding – we need to show how much this festival brings our community together and provides opportunities for people to volunteer and gain work experience. Please can you take a few minutes to fill out our survey – it would really help:

So the sun sets on another CPOF and we are thinking about the future and how we can keep our wonderful festival going – do watch this space for future news and plans.

Much love
The CPOF team
