AS UPPER NORWOOD holds its Remembrance Day wreath-laying thius Sunday, more names can be added to the ever-growing local ‘Roll of Honour’.
 
They include several men from Farquhar Road who died in the First World War. Research has also found three brothers named Tanner, whose names appear on the Penge War memorial, whose parents lived at 78 Thicket Road. The name of one of the brothers appears on the memorial at St Stephen’s Dulwich.
