PLAQUE FOR MISSING ROBBIE GIBSON
A plaque for missing Robbie Gibson is being placed in the Sensible Garden at South Norwood – close to Goat House bridge – tomorrow (Saturday).
A Facebook post for the garden – named after Captain Sensible – says: “We are planning the celebration of the continuing success of the Sensible Garden, as we totally missed the birthday of this little slice of paradise.
“We will also be placing a plaque on Robbie’s bench, because we all miss him, and people have passed by and asked after him, and we need to keep up the profile of his story in the news and on social media.
“On the 15th October all Sensiblers are called to the Garden to celebrate the birth of this great community space, and to remember our mate, and wish him well, and keep our fingers crossed that one day he will return to us and his family.
“Meet at 18:30 to unveil Robbie’s bench and then birthday cake at the Shelverdine Goathouse. drink & listen to lovely music provided by Rose – the Sensible Garden’s resident vintage DJ.
