NEW ONLINE DATABASE TO HELP BUSINESSES FIND PREMISES / HOMES IN BROMLEY
Businesses looking to relocate to areas within the borough of Bromley or start-ups looking for a home are being encouraged to visit Bromley council’s website for a new database of commercial property.
The online database is free to search and contains regularly updated information on hundreds of vacant properties for sale or lease, with details submitted by commercial property agents. It is now available on the Council websitewww.bromley.gov.uk/propertydatabase
“There are many reasons to locate and re-locate your business into our Borough, including good transport links, with central London and the M25 nearby” says Bromley’s executive councillor for renewal and recreation Cllr Peter Morgan.
“We’ve found that factors which influence the recruitment of good staff such as outstanding schools, first class shopping and leisure facilities, excellent sports clubs and a range of leisure pursuits, including access to countryside also play a part for a lot of businesses too.
“Whilst the database does not stop all the traditional search methods, it should make it a lot easier for businesses, both established and start-up, to find a home in the borough.
“It will also help agents to complete more deals and reduce the level of vacant property in the borough – all great outcomes for the local economy!”
Searches can be undertaken to identify properties by area, use type, size or type of tenure. Users can then select from a shortlist to view and download full sales particulars after completing a simple online registration form.
Once suitable properties are identified, searchers can use the supplied agent contact details to find out more information, or to arrange a viewing.
In addition to encouraging property searchers to use the new database, Bromley are calling on agents and landlords with commercial properties located within the borough to submit information to the database.
Any commercial properties for sale or lease can be advertised for free on this database and the unique portal will generate high quality leads for follow up. Details can be submitted to the database by sending PDFs of sales particulars to [email protected]
