INFORMATION SESSION FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS
Parents of children with a disability or special educational needs can find out more about available support in Bromley at a special drop-in event organised by Bromley Council.
The event, at Bromley Central Library on Monday (23 November) will offer parents and carers the chance to see what services – known as ‘the local offer’ – are available across the borough for all age groups from pre-school to young adults.
There will also be an opportunity to try out Bromley MyLife, the Council’s website for people needing support. The site now has a new section at http://bromley.mylifeportal.co.uk/localoffer . These pages provide details of local services for children and young people with additional needs, available from the public, private and voluntary sector in the area.
The Bromley MyLife Information session for parents and carers of children and young people with learning disabilities will be held at Bromley Central Library on the first floor on Monday 23 November from 12noon-2pm. For more information about the event please visit http://bromley.mylifeportal.co.uk/mylifeevents or email [email protected] (Source: Bromley council press release)
