HOW LOCAL MPS VOTED ON ‘BOMB DAESH’ MOTION
MPs voted on Wednesday night on whether the UK should join US-led coalition air strikes against Daesh militants in Syria.
The government motion was passed 397 to 223 after a 10-hour debate in the House of Commons.
Of the area’s three MPs BBC News says Jim Dowd (Lewisham West and Penge) voted in favour, Steve Reed (Croydon North) abstained and Helen Hayes (Dulwich and West Norwood) voted against.
