There’s hop planting at the Crystal Palace Museum Garden from 11:00 – 2pm this Sunday (March 17th).
A post on l;ocal blog site Virtual Norwood says: “We’ll be picking up our hops as part of the Palace Pint project and be shown how to plant them. “We will also be creating some paths, doing some weeding and pruning some bushes. “If you get bored, people from Crystal Palace Transition Town will be working at the Tipsy Garden at the Grape and Grain, Anerley Hill across the road.
The post says there is black paint and brushes too – which may mean there will be some painting of the railings.
So why not hop along? (Sorry.)
