PATCHWORK FARM’S stall at the Crystal Palace food market will be giving away free bulbs* tomorrow (Saturday March 1st).
A food market spokes[person said: “Also on Patchwork Farm: We have some seed potatoes for 50p for a bag of 4 and land cress seeds for 10p. Landcress tastes and looks just like watercress.
“The only difference is that it doesn’t need to be grown in a stream of water, like watercress.
“Also more healthy greens from Joel & Paola, who live just off Gipsy Hill and have an organic farm eight miles outside Crystal Palace.
“Their greens are some of the best I’ve ever tasted, they’re hugely versatile and they last for ages because they’re picked the night before the market. Plus Colin’s bread, Imogen’s jam & Calum’s brownies. (*bulbs while stocks last)

GOOD TASTE on Westow Hill will be closed for a four-day refurbishment next week.Cheese, beer and wine lovers, re-opening on Friday March 7th.
Explains owner Manish: “,We’ve got some builders in to change the layout of the shop a wee bit. “The new layout maximises the small amount of space we have in the shop.
“It means we will be able to stock in the region of 200 different beers and 200 different wines – currently our shelves hold an average of 100 of each at any one time.
“In the mean time, we are open as usual. Closing at 8pm today (Friday) and tomorrow and 11-6 Sunday for your usual goodies.”
