Farewell to Film Review, An Evening with Andre Vincent & the Blinking Buzzards – 14th, 15th and 17th Oct
70 Years of Film Review Wed 14th Oct 19:30
Join us for the launch of the 70th edition of Film Review, which will sadly be the last in the series. The evening will include an illustrated presentation on the history of Film Review by contributor Jonathan Rigby, followed by a discussion/Q&A with co-editor Mansel Stimpson and executive editor James Cameron-Wilson. Publisher Marcus Hearn will also be present, to talk about his long association with the book. Signed copies of the 70th edition will be available, ahead of the official publication date.
Doors open at 18.30, for a 19.30 start.

Within a short stretch of the A23 in south London road there are 230 years-worth of fortunes, adventures and anecdotes from British comedy. Join comedian Andre Vincent as he presents the origin of the ringed circus, the advent of music hall, the heart of Variety, and the birthplaces and homes of some of comedy’s greatest performers, all along the 159 bus route.
Doors open at 18.30, for a 19.30 start.

Quarterly meeting of the UK Buster Keaton Society dedicated to the appreciation of the silent comedian.
No details of the programme but expect shorts and a main feature – and some surprises!
