New shops have arrived on the Triangle.
On Church Road next to the blocked off junction with St Aubyn’s Road you’ll find Flake and Shake which sells ice cream, milk shakes, cakes,sourdough, sandwiches and coffees.
While at the top of Belvedere Road just round the corner from the Alma pub you can find the Artisan Chocolate Café where everything is handmade on site. The shop also sells coffee, teas and vegan food.
PLUMBASE BUILDING FOR SALE
The former Plumbase premises on Westow Hill are for sale through Colliers International.
Colliers say the property occupies a 0.106-acre site with ground floor trade counter / retail premises and two residential maisonettes on part first and second floors. The residential units are held on long leaseholds.
To the rear of the retail unit is a detached warehouse, previously used as a plumber’s merchant but would be suitable for a variety of potential uses, including residential, subject to the usual consents.
The premises, built as a Burton tailoring shop and opened in 1938, are available freehold with vacant possession via private treaty sale.
SPINNEY GARDENS FOR SALE
News From Crystal Palace understands the leasehold of the Spinney Gardens estate is set to go under the hammer later this month.
Leaseholders Covent Garden Ltd failed in a bid to build four maisonettes on the spinney in Spinney Gardens in 2013.

BARCLAYS BANK BUILDING SOLD AT AUCTION
The former Barclays bank building on Westow Hill (ground floor and basement only) has sold at auction through Allsops for £530,000 leasehold. Held for a term of 999 years from 22nd March 2007 (thus having some 987 years unexpired) at a peppercorn ground rent.
LICENSING APPLICATION ON WESTOW HILL
Plans by the Westow Hill bar to supply alcohol on the premises of 53 Westow Hill from 10 am to 11pm Monday to Sunday have been submitted to Lambeth council’s licensing team for consideration.
