COOKING ON A BUDGET – AT THE FOOD MARKET
Join us for our Cooking on a Budget workshop with demonstrations from Rachel de Thample, this Saturday 21 November, 11.30-12.30pm and 2-3pm, outside Antenna Cafe.
Rachel will cook a meal for four as cheaply as possible with food sourced in the market. The event is being filmed and will show Rachel explaining her food choices as she shops as well as how to cook the meal.
This is the first of five cooking workshops that will run up to February 2016, funded by Croydon Council and ourselves at the market.
This weekend is SE Art Trail weekend. Local artists and makers will be opening up their studio spaces to the public in Crystal Palace, West and South Norwood, Penge and Anerley. Over the weekend you can get to meet the diverse makers in their spaces, view and buy amazing arts and crafts in a celebration of local creativity. We’ll be hosting some of the artists at our Handmade Palace stall, and while you’re here, check out the Haynes Lane Studios, Antenna Studios & our neighbour Vince at Art With Glass.
Plus our Christmas hamper competition – look out for the students handing out flyers at the market for your chance to win!
