CHARITY SHOPS BURGLED: Cancer Research praise response of “brilliant volunteers”
Both charity shops on Westow Hill – Shelter and Cancer Research – have been hit by overnight burglaries.
Metropolitan Police say they were called at 05:39hrs on Monday, 14 August to reports of a burglary at a shop in Westow Hill, SE19.
Officers attended and found entry had been gained by the window being smashed.
At 06:32hrs, police were called to reports of a burglary at another shop in Westow Hill, SE19.
Officers attended and found entry had been gained by the glass pane on the front door being smashed. Cash was reported stolen.
No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.
